The cutoff dates for submitting grant applications are April 1st and August 1st. Applications may be submitted at any time during the year and are processed (but not necessarily acted upon) in the order in which received. Grants will be awarded based on the best judgment of the Trustees as to relative merit, conformity to Mr. Anderson's philosophy as founder, and compliance with the mandatory and discretionary policies of the Foundation and applicable laws, regardless of the order in which proposals are filed.
